About the Timberland Bowbenders Archery Club:

The Timberland Bowbenders are committed to the development and pursuit of Target Archery, 3D Archery, and Bowhunting. We have a strong commitment to youth and the Junior Olympic Program (JOP).

Our goal is to promote the sport of Archery for ALL ages. A sport that is growing for family and individual fun.

The Junior Olympic Program (JOP) is the program for young archers from the age of 5-21 as of December 31 of the current year. They meet and work with coaches and earn badges for skill levels. This provides a beginning for many to advance to Summer Games, Canada Games, and Olympic competitions. JOP operates on Mondays 6-7:30pm and Wednesdays from 7-9pm.

Timberland Bowbenders has had several members in the past years that pursed the sport as far as National events, Junior World Championships (International), training for Olympics and Canada winter games and Saskatchewan Summer Games.

Coaching and Judging – We are fortunate to have several judges in our club and there is always need for more. A couple of people have attended National training. One has his Continental status and has qualified for an International Paralympics (IPC) Technical delegate. Expenses are paid by SAA – you just need time to participate.

Coaches are valuable to our clubs to train the young archers. Timberland Bowbenders has 2 certified coaches (Instruction of Intermediate Archers) and 4 currently working on their instruction of Beginner Archers coaches.
